S/Y SEA MORE | Delivered January 2025 | Two Atlantic crossings

3,780 W solar | 1,200 Ah lithium | 100 L/h watermaker | Hydrogenerator

Sailing instruction and boat familiarisation included with the purchase.

Not just equipped for the ocean. Already out there doing it.

Sea More is an extensively customised Excess 14 Pulse Line with an offshore history to match her specification. Delivered in Les Sables-d’Olonne in January 2025, she has completed two Atlantic crossings, cruised the Caribbean and returned to the Mediterranean.

Her owners are an experienced Norwegian couple whom we know personally. Sea More is their fourth boat with Yacht-Match. Their involvement is visible throughout: in the energy and water systems, the sail-handling arrangements, the backup equipment and the practical details of everyday life aboard.

For her next owners, the attraction is more than a long equipment list. It is the combination of substantial cruising preparation, real offshore use and an ownership history familiar to the team handling the sale.

A yacht for buyers who want to spend their time cruising, rather than begin with a basic boat and an extensive equipment project.

Off-grid capability at the heart of the specification

Sea More brings together 3,780 W of solar on the coachroof and davits, a 1,200 Ah Victron lithium battery bank, a Victron Quattro inverter/charger and a Watt&Sea POD 600 hydrogenerator. These are complemented by a Dessalator Duo 100 L/h watermaker, operating on 12 V or 230 V, and 600 litres of freshwater capacity.

The owners have also configured the hot-water system to operate from the batteries and solar-supported electrical system, including while sailing. The galley is all-electric, with a three-zone induction hob and combination electric oven/microwave.

This is a specification aimed at extended stays away from marina services, without giving up the conveniences of living aboard: three refrigerators, a freezer, a dishwasher and a full-size LG washer/dryer are included.

Actual autonomy depends on weather, energy use and how the equipment is operated. The appeal is the breadth of the installed systems and the flexibility they offer, rather than a promise of unlimited power.

The owner-specific details that make the difference

Backup arrangements for passage-making

Alongside the Garmin navigation suite are an ORCA backup navigation system, interior and exterior VHF, and an autopilot installation with an LS backup drive unit. The onboard spares include a water pump, gooseneck, footblocks and running rigging. These practical provisions deserve attention alongside the headline electronics.

A galley adapted for living aboard

A large 52 × 33 cm single sink replaces the two smaller standard sinks described by the owners. A separate saltwater tap with foot pump, extra drawers, three lidded storage compartments and a lockable pull-out appliance platform make the workspace more practical for extended cruising.

More versatile water use

The owner’s electric toilet can use freshwater or seawater. The galley has its own foot-operated saltwater tap, and the boat is equipped for freshwater and seawater deck washing—useful choices when managing water aboard.

Sail handling beyond the basic arrangement

Dedicated Code 0 and spinnaker halyard arrangements, upgraded dual footblocks and additional port-side jammers complement the electric winches and Flatwinder mainsheet traveller.

Space for more than luggage

The owner’s hull includes a dedicated workspace and a large dressing, storage and workshop area, described by the owners as convertible to a fourth cabin. It is a layout that makes room for the practical side of long-term ownership.

Protection and comfort outside

A full cockpit enclosure, separate sunshade/mosquito enclosure, foredeck awning, window shades and protective enclosures behind both helm positions broaden the usable living space. Cork cockpit decking and the adjustable saloon table are further examples of the attention given to everyday use.

Pulse Line sailing, with an offshore-minded sail inventory

The Pulse Line rig, square-top mainsail, large genoa and extended bowsprit are complemented by a Code 0, an Oxley Parasail and a 20 m² storm sail. All winches are electric, with a Flatwinder mainsheet traveller and the additional halyard-handling arrangements described above.

The result is a broad sail inventory for different conditions, backed by equipment selected for more than short coastal trips.

Sea More’s offshore history is already part of the boat—not simply the next owner’s ambition.

Three cabins, three heads and room to live aboard

The owner’s hull combines a double cabin, office/workspace, central en-suite bathroom and the large dressing/storage/workshop area. The opposite hull has two double guest cabins with en-suite bathrooms. All three toilets are electric.

The saloon and galley are arranged around extended stays on board, with additional storage, an adjustable table, a 43-inch Samsung Frame television and Fusion audio. Fans in every cabin and two in the saloon, slatted berth bases, window shades and curtains complete the liveaboard specification.

A considered alternative to starting from new

When comparing Sea More with another Excess 14, compare the complete cruising configuration—not just the model and delivery date.

The renewable charging equipment, watermaker, additional sails, backup arrangements, galley adaptations, tender and spares all form part of the proposition. The owners’ specification records both a substantial factory configuration and a separate programme of customisation and additions.

A factory configuration and a completed, owner-adapted cruising yacht are different starting points. Sea More offers the latter, together with the opportunity to inspect the boat and understand the equipment before taking her on.

Sailing instruction and boat familiarisation included

Yacht-Match includes sailing instruction and familiarisation with the yacht as part of the purchase.

The aim is to help you understand her handling, onboard systems and day-to-day operation, rather than simply receive the keys.

We can also help arrange delivery or transport. Where practical, the sailing instruction can be incorporated into an agreed delivery passage, so you gain experience on your own yacht while bringing her to your chosen cruising area.

The training arrangements and any delivery, transport, crew or travel costs are agreed separately.

Watch the walkthrough. Arrange a viewing. Experience her under sail.

A recorded walkthrough is available, and we can arrange viewings and sea trials at the yacht’s base on Spain’s Mediterranean coast.

Contact Yacht-Match for the video, appointment arrangements and a detailed discussion of the boat and your sailing plans.

Take over more than an equipped yacht: start with an owner-developed cruising setup, an offshore history and a practical introduction to making it your own.

Request the walkthrough | Arrange a viewing and sea trial | Discuss delivery and training

Specifications and cruising history are based on information supplied by the owners and are subject to inspection, survey and final agreement. Final inventory, service status, delivery arrangements and the scope of included instruction are confirmed during the purchase process.
