The Sabre 42 Salon Express is one of the most successful models in Sabre’s Downeast lineup, combining classic Maine styling and beautifully finished American cherry joinery with the performance, maneuverability, and efficiency of Zeus pod propulsion.
OFF-PISTE is an appealing example that has benefited from substantial upgrades and continued investment under her current ownership since 2022. Highlights include new Garmin electronics with twin 16" multifunction displays, Starlink HP in-motion satellite internet, solar panels, Siren Marine remote monitoring, updated batteries, refreshed interior soft goods, and extensive mechanical service.
Mechanically, her owners have continued to address the important systems aboard. Recent work includes a major engine and raw-water cooling service in 2025, propeller balancing and tuning, replacement raw-water pumps and additional cooling and charging-system work through 2026.
With her two-stateroom layout, spacious salon, mid-level galley, large cockpit and excellent all-around visibility, OFF-PISTE is equally comfortable cruising New England for a weekend or spending extended time aboard.
