About this yacht
One Owner, Chesapeake Bay Kept Since New, Only 498 Engine Hours
This 2010 Catalina 445 is hull number 20 of a highly regarded Gerry Douglas design and has had one owner since new. She has spent her entire life sailing the protected waters of the Chesapeake Bay, with the seasonal use that keeps a cruising yacht in excellent condition. Power is a Yanmar diesel with only 498 original hours, and the onboard generator shows approximately 40 hours, exercised regularly to keep it reliable. A new dodger was installed in 2025, and in May 2026 she received fresh bottom paint, a wax, new zincs and a painted prop. With an owner's cabin forward, a guest stateroom and flexible cabin aft, twin helm stations and a furling sailplan, she is comfortable and manageable for couples or shorthanded crews cruising the Chesapeake, the coast or the Bahamas.
