The rugged low maintenance exterior of the North Pacific 42 is built with no teak to maintain and heavy 316 stainless steel. It has a solid fiberglass hull using vinyl ester resin. The interior of the NP42 is beautifully hand crafted in teak and is very spacious interior and generous tankage making it an excellent yacht for extended cruising. Not only does the North Pacific 42 offer excellent value, but also good design. All equipment is easily accessible for routine maintenance and the useful living and storage areas are maximized on this yacht, from the spacious salon to the extensive upper deck. The North Pacific 42 can be confidently piloted with an unobstructed view over the high prow from the raised pilothouse, or from the flybridge. She cruises comfortably at 8.5 knots, produced by the yachts single Cummins QSB5.9 380HP electronic diesel engine.
