BREAKAWAY — 2000 HAMPTON 490 PILOTHOUSE

Breakaway is a well-equipped Hampton 490 Pilothouse offering the protected operation, comfortable accommodations, and cruising systems experienced buyers seek in a capable owner-operated motor yacht.

Her arrangement includes a raised pilothouse, open salon and galley, private midship master suite, forward VIP guest stateroom, two heads with separate showers, an enclosed flybridge, aft boat deck, cockpit, and swim platform. Port and starboard pilothouse doors provide convenient exterior access for anchoring and line handling.

Twin Cummins 6CTA8.3-M3 diesels rated at 430 HP each provide propulsion through ZF marine gears. Naiad fin stabilizers contribute to comfort underway, while Side-Power bow and stern thrusters provide additional control during docking and close-quarters maneuvering.

BOAT DECK, COCKPIT, AND FOREDECK

The aft boat deck carries an AB aluminum-bottom RIB powered by a Suzuki 20 HP four-stroke outboard. The tender is handled by a low-profile electric davit reported by the owner to have an approximately 1,000-pound capacity. Two sea kayaks and dedicated storage brackets are also represented as included.

The cockpit provides direct salon access, line-handling space, machinery access, a hot-and-cold shower, freshwater washdown, and access to the swim platform. Stainless-steel swim-platform rails and an undermount swim ladder were installed in 2023.

Port and starboard pilothouse doors provide convenient access to the forward working deck. The anchoring system includes a Maxwell 2200 windlass with controls at both helms and foredeck foot switches, a 41 kg Super SARCA anchor, approximately 300 feet of galvanized chain, a Mantus bridle, and freshwater washdown.

Supporting equipment includes Racor fuel filtration, Tides dripless shaft seals, a Reverso oil-change system, Hynautic hydraulic steering, Bennett trim tabs, fixed engine-room fire suppression, an engine-room camera, and onboard mechanical spares.
